TekStaff's Client has a current vacancy for a Scrum Master
This is a 12 month contract located in Toronto/Ontario, Hybrid (2 days onsite currently, but could change in the future)
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Proficiency in JIRA
- Post -secondary education
- Certified Scrum Master and 3+ years of Scrum Master experience
- 5-7 years Agile related experience preferred
- 3+ years' experience with Agile Management tools
- Experience working in complex, Scaled Agile environments (software development, ID, product, or enterprise transformation).
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Good facilitation, influence, and conflict resolution skills. Able to guide senior leaders, diverse teams, and stakeholders.
- Strong servant leadership mindset with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Excellent risk management to identify "critical path" items in a sprint that could delay a major waterfall milestone
- Data-driven mindset. Comfortable with metrics, flow analysis and ART health assessment
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills (verbal, written, presentation).
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive alignment in large, cross-functional settings.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in regulated industries (ie., Finance) and DevOps / continuous delivery environments.
- Background in change management or organizational agility transformations.

Responsibilities
Guide teams and stakeholders in complex, scaled Agile environments, using facilitation and servant leadership to build alignment and resolve conflicts. Manage sprint risks and critical-path items, and use metrics, flow analysis, and ART health assessments to support delivery and stakeholder communication.
Requirements
Requires post-secondary education, Certified Scrum Master certification, proficiency in JIRA, and at least three years of Scrum Master experience; three or more years using Agile management tools is also required. Five to seven years of Agile-related experience is preferred, along with experience in complex scaled Agile environments and strong facilitation, risk management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
