Develop and maintain strategic relationships with utilities, municipalities, developers, engineering firms, contractors, and other industry partners.
Identify and pursue opportunities in electrical distribution design, hydro design, streetlighting, asset management, utility infrastructure, and related engineering services.
Provide support to our team with RFPs, proposals, presentations, commercial discussions, and other strategic pursuits.
Position Telecon as a trusted engineering and infrastructure partner within the utility sector.
Provide strategic and technical leadership in developing Telecon’s utility engineering capabilities, standards, processes, and delivery model.
Build and lead a high-performing utility engineering team, including identifying and recruiting key technical resources as the business grows.
Establish strategic partnerships with specialized engineering firms and subcontractors to complement internal capabilities where required.
Work closely with clients and internal teams to successfully transition newly won opportunities from business development through project execution.
Represent Telecon at utility industry conferences, associations, networking events, and client meetings to increase market presence and strengthen relationships.
Monitor utility capital programs, market trends, procurement opportunities, and emerging infrastructure requirements to identify new areas for growth.
Develop revenue targets, pipeline objectives, and a multi-year growth plan for the utility business.
Identify longer-term opportunities to expand beyond engineering into design-build, construction, and broader utility infrastructure services.
