  • Master and manage PBM claim adjudication data structures by creating and maintaining formularies, price files, categorization rules, and list management to ensure smooth claim processing across pharmacy networks
  • Establish standardized business process documentation that captures workflows, decision trees, and system requirements while ensuring consistency across the Drug Operations team
  • Provide expert, timely responses to complex drug pricing, plan coverage, and formulary inquiries from internal teams and external stakeholders, meeting established SLAs while maintaining comprehensive documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including pharmacy operations, compliance, and system administrators to implement updates, troubleshoot claim adjudication issues, and optimize data quality processes

Qualifications

What you bring

  • Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) experience with demonstrated knowledge of claim adjudication principles, formulary management, and pharmacy benefit systems
  • 1–3 years of experience in a comparable business analyst, pharmacy operations, or drug information role
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation, formula development) for managing and analyzing formulary and pricing data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to document complex business processes clearly and concisely
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt quickly to changing requirements
  • Working knowledge of SQL or database query tools for data retrieval and validation
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy in a regulated healthcare environment

Great-to-haves
