Why This Role Exists

The Project Delivery Manager is a leadership role that blends people management, client advisory, and hands-on technical expertise, based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba. You'll lead a multidisciplinary team of senior consultants, acting as both their operational leader and a senior technical escalation point. Reporting to the Head of Internal Operations, you'll shape how Tenom delivers projects and advisory services by mentoring the team, standardizing delivery practices, and continuously improving our processes and service methodologies. This role drives value by making sure every client gets consistent, high-quality delivery, on time and within budget.

Who We Need - Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight and Delivery Management

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of client projects led by the Project Delivery team, reviewing scopes, schedules, and deliverables against Tenom standards.
Monitor project performance, risk, and client satisfaction, and step in when needed to resolve issues.
Lead key client engagements, discovery sessions, and project reviews. Facilitate pre-mortems to get ahead of risks and post-mortems to capture lessons learned.
Drive consistent use of project management tools, templates, and reporting.

Technical Leadership and Escalation

Serve as a senior technical escalation point for complex or high-visibility issues.
Provide guidance across Microsoft 365, Azure, identity, security, and modern workplace infrastructure.
Contribute to solution architecture, troubleshooting, and client communication during escalated incidents.
Stay current on evolving technologies and best practices relevant to our service portfolio.

Client Relationship and Communication

Represent the Project Delivery team in client meetings and support ongoing relationship management.
Communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders so expectations are understood and met.
Contribute to proposals, statements of work, and client presentations.

Team and Performance Leadership

Manage, coach, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of senior consultants, with regular feedback tied to their development and performance goals.
Set and track KPIs for project success, team performance, and client satisfaction, and report on them regularly to the team and management.
Keep staffing, workload, and resource allocation balanced across the team.
Build a team culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

What You Need

5+ years of experience in IT consulting or technical leadership within a Managed Services or Cloud Advisory environment.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Information Technology, Computer Science, etc.).
Solid technical expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, and related modern workplace technologies.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
A track record of leading, motivating, and developing high-performing teams.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
A results-oriented mindset focused on delivering on time, within budget, and beyond client expectations.
Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites across the territory.
Certifications such as Microsoft, PMP, or ITIL are considered assets.
