Who We Are 🎯

Tetra Digital Group is Canada's leading institutional digital asset infrastructure provider, and right now, we're at an inflection point.

Tetra is Canada's first and only regulated digital asset custodian and first and only regulated FI in Canada to issue a stablecoin.

We're backed by Urbana Corporation, National Bank, ATB Financial, Wealthsimple, Purpose Unlimited, Shakepay, Shopify, and Coinbase Ventures - some of the most consequential names in Canadian finance and fintech.

Our stablecoin, CADD, is live on Base, Ethereum, and Tempo today.

Here's the problem we're solving: Canada clears roughly $424 billion every business day, and much of the payment infrastructure underneath it was designed in the 1980s. Batch windows. Cut-off times. Weekends off. We want to change all that.

We're a team of about 30 people building rails that settle continuously, programmatically, and under regulatory oversight.

The Role ⚙️

This role exists to make our COO measurably more effective - functioning as the in-house equivalent of an investment banking analyst or FP&A lead, but embedded inside a single business you can actually shape.

You'll be the analytical engine of the COO's office: financial modelling, valuation and unit-economics work, budgeting and forecasting, competitive and market research, board and investor materials, partner diligence, and the ad hoc problems that need a sharp analytical mind on them. If a question requires clean numbers, structured thinking, and a credible answer - it lands on your desk.

The COO will set direction in broad strokes and trust you to scope, structure, and deliver - coming back with the right answer, at the right depth, in the right format, without three rounds of clarifying questions.

What You'll Own or Do 🎯

Build financial models, valuation frameworks, and unit-economics views to support COO-level decisions enterprise-wide
Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance-analysis inputs that feed executive and board reporting
Pressure-test business cases, vendor proposals, and internal investment requests
Conduct primary and secondary research on competitors, partners, market structure, and regulatory developments across Canadian digital assets and adjacent fintech, and turn it into decision-ready reports
Scope and execute discrete strategic and operational projects end-to-end, from blank page to executive recommendation
Prepare board-quality decks, briefing notes, and memos - holding the quality bar on anything that leaves the COO's office
Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Technology to gather inputs and pressure-test conclusions
Track open commitments, decisions, and actions across the COO's priorities, and drive them to closure

What We're Looking For 🔍

2–4 years post-undergrad, or 1–2 years post-MBA, in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, or a similarly analytical environment
Strong financial modelling and quantitative skills - advanced Excel and PowerPoint required; SQL or Python a plus
Demonstrated ability to scope and deliver against broad, ambiguous mandates with limited supervision
Excellent presentation skills - you build decks that lead board room and executive discussions
Excellent written and oral communication, with comfort presenting to senior leadership and the board
Strong research instincts - you know where to look, how to triangulate, and when a recommendation is good enough to ship
Operational maturity to handle confidential and time-sensitive work independently
Comfort in a high-candor environment where leadership communicates directly and expects the same

CFA, CPA, or equivalent designation in progress or completed
