Job Description

Job Summary

We are now seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Processing Sales Manager to manage and develop the customer relationship for Tetra Pak’s Processing Solutions & Equipment business in Canada. In this position, you will be the key point of contact for the customer, not only looking to ensure that their operational issues are resolved in a timely manner but identifying their needs and delivering solutions to drive mutual growth.

You will work with our customers in Processing and look for opportunities to sell our Solutions and grow our Market, while also promoting the Tetra Pak One Company approach with these accounts. We are looking for someone who can speak the technical language and drive to deliver a world class service experience. This position requires fluency in both French and English.

You will be traveling up to 50% of your time to customer sites.

This position can be based in Ontario (Toronto) or Quebec.

What You Will Do

As Processing Sales Manager, you will:

Drive mutual sustainable growth for both New Sales and existing customers by driving a cross-functional team to build strong customer relationships while identifying and capturing short, medium and long-term business opportunities.
Be responsible for promoting Tetra Pak Processing technology and solutions, defining needs, and qualifying opportunities with existing and new accounts.
Establish strategies and lead the implementation of the action plans towards Tetra Pak accounts.
Drive up-to-date knowledge of Tetra Pak's New Sales and Services portfolio within customers and ensure that the relevant Tetra Pak portfolio is deployed in full, meets competitiveness requirements and delivers a strong value proposition.
Drive improved understanding of customers’ overall business and requirements, and articulate customer needs across Tetra Pak organization.
Record and follow up on opportunities in a timely fashion.
Participate to industry meetings and maintain a network of connections through social networking, industry events, etc…
Support and guide the project engineering group and coordinate cross functional activities.
Prepare, deliver and follow up on quotations to customer expectations.
Ensure that customer issues are resolved in a timely manner, and the resolution is accepted by the customer.
Help guide team members in regard to liquid food and dairy processing to secure that they match customer needs.

Profile Description

We believe you have

A Bachelor’s degree is required, Engineering degree is preferred
At least 5 years of experience in the Food Processing Industry
Working knowledge and experience of Food Processing engineering, Business and Sales Management
Ability and desire to stay at the forefront of the industry with an understanding of the market and technology trends
Fluent and clear communication in English and French required
Experience working with customers is required
You should also be:

Inquisitive and a critical thinker
Customer focused
Able to learn quickly and adapt to change
Able to travel up to 50% of the time.

Pay Equity

Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in Ontario, Canada.

Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances.

Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $150,000 – $200,000 CAD
Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 18% of ABS
