Packaging Operator - 12-Month Contract (Night Shift)

Location: Scarborough, Ontario

Join a dynamic manufacturing team where quality, precision, and teamwork drive success. As a Packaging Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring products are packaged safely, accurately, and efficiently while meeting the highest standards of quality and compliance.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

As a Packaging Operator I, you will:

Operate packaging equipment in accordance with the Master Packaging Order (MPO)
Follow EH&S policies, GMPs, and controlled procedures (SOPs, EMs, WIs, JAs)
Perform basic equipment setup, including programming batch info and cleaning/assembly
Troubleshoot and fine-tune equipment within your area of responsibility
Inspect finished products and complete documentation accurately
Maintain a clean and organized packaging area
Support OPEX initiatives (OEE, SMED, RCPS, Kaizen, 5S)
Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and operate equipment properly
Perform other duties as assigned

Your Skills And Experience

Minimum 1 year of pharmaceutical experience
High School diploma or equivalent
Strong mechanical aptitude with high-speed machinery
Solid understanding of Health & Safety procedures (OH&S Act, WHMIS)
Team-oriented mindset with good interpersonal skills
Solid math and writing skills (online assessment required for interview consideration)
