Overview
Reporting to the Demand Management Senior Manager, the Analyst, Demand Management plays a key role in supporting Demand Management operations, systems, and process improvement initiatives across ALDO Group brands and customers. This position is responsible for supporting the Senior Manager with our strategic initiatives, providing analytical and operational support to the Demand Management Coordinators, and delivering reporting, data management, and business insights to support decision-making and operational excellence.
The Analyst acts as a bridge between business users, IT, Supply Chain, Distribution, and Customer Service teams, ensuring that processes, tools, and reporting solutions effectively support the evolving needs of the Demand Management function.
Responsibilities
1. Demand Management Systems Support
- Serve as the primary support to the Snr Manager for current and future system enhancement initiatives related to EDI cockpit, sales order cockpit, and implementing available to promise
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements with Demand Management stakeholders.
- Participate in process design workshops and support functional specification development.
- Coordinate demand management team reviews and obtain sign-offs on functional requirements and proposed solutions.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), document test scenarios and results, and track defect resolution.
- Support change management activities, including training materials, process documentation, and user adoption.
- Act as the liaison between business users, IT teams, and external partners throughout project lifecycles.
2. Demand Management Operations & team support
- Support the management of calendar & pricing:
- Manage shared team calendars and ensure adherence to critical business deadlines.
- Support retail price (ZPR0) loads and pricing project execution.
- Provide season and brand line lists, as well as manage pricing catalogs
- Generate operational reporting for the appropriate stakeholders:
- Weekly delivery follow-up files & operational reports to support the forecasting calls
- Routing issues, shipping delays, or process exceptions to appropriate stakeholders.
- Open return report to support credit-block removal processes.
- Monthly demand cleanup activities & data quality initiatives
- Run and monitor daily short shipment reporting for distribution centers.
- Weekly chargeback status reporting and performance updates.
- Support the team with operational issue resolution, system defects, and process-related troubleshooting.
3. Reporting, Analytics & Business support
- Support the user-acceptance testing of the demand orderbooks in AWS environment to enable the transition out of Webi
- Support the automation of the weekly delivery follow-up, in collaboration with the supply chain project team
- Identify opportunities for process automation and operational efficiencies.
- Recommend enhancements to reporting tools, dashboards, and business processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in Demand Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Business Analysis, or a related function.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with SAP, BI/Reporting tools
- Experience with system implementation projects, business requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally across Supply Chain, IT, Customer Service, and Operations teams.
