Overview
Reporting into the Compliance Manager, the associate analyst supports the compliance program on both sides of the supply chain. On the inbound side, you monitor supplier performance, resolve labeling and shipping non-compliance, and manage supplier chargebacks. On the outbound side, you help manage wholesale customer chargebacks tied to distribution center shipments, working with the DC to investigate, document, and dispute them. You'll keep shipment and product data accurate across systems and produce the compliance reporting that feeds monthly S&OP discussions.
Responsibilities
- Supplier compliance (inbound)
- Review daily supplier emails on compliance data, investigate performance issues, and confirm data is accurate and aligned across systems.
- Monitor and resolve supplier compliance and labeling inquiries through the vendor compliance and labels inbox.
- Train suppliers on the vendor portal and provide ongoing support.
- Prepare and maintain non-compliance chargeback files and support proof, including customs correspondence and related documentation.
- Handle Accounts Payable inquiries on credit notes: confirm required documentation and follow up with vendors or internal teams as needed.
- Customer chargebacks (outbound/DC)
- Support wholesale customer chargebacks through the dispute resolution process.
- Review incoming customer chargeback notices and identify the cause (for example, routing, labeling, ASN, or delivery-window issues).
- Partner with DC operations to gather proof (BOLs, proof of delivery, ASN and carrier records) and submit disputes before customer deadlines.
- Track chargeback status and outcomes and flag recurring root causes to DC and customer service teams.
- Reporting & analytics
- Investigate article master and advance shipping notice (ASN) variances, and coordinate corrections and follow-up with the relevant teams.
- Prepare and update monthly S&OP presentation slides for Licensing Brands and GH BASS using the latest compliance reporting.
- Serve as backup for on-time performance KPI analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience [0-2 years in compliance, logistics, or customer service]
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to track many open items to resolution
- Clear, professional written communication with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with ERP and reporting tools [SAP and/or BI experience a plus]
- Understanding of DC operations, retailer compliance requirements, or chargeback processes a plus
Building a culture of belonging
We firmly believe that the diversity of backgrounds, perspectives, and identities is a fundamental strength of the ALDO Group. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and equitable work environment where everyone can reach their full potential and find their fit.
