Role Description The Customer Service Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Mississauga, ON. In this position, the team member responds to customer inquiries in person, by phone, and through digital channels, providing accurate information on products, services, orders, and deliveries. The role involves resolving issues, processing returns and exchanges, and ensuring customers have a positive experience before, during, and after their purchase. The representative updates customer records, follows up on outstanding concerns, and collaborates with sales, warehouse, and delivery teams to ensure smooth service. The role also includes adhering to company policies, maintaining a professional and welcoming environment, and supporting overall store performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Customer Service and Customer Support, with a focus on responsive and professional interaction.
- Ability to foster strong Customer Experience and Customer Satisfaction through effective problem-solving and follow-up.
- Experience working as Customer Service Representatives or in similar customer-facing roles in retail or service environments.
- Strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and concerns in a calm and respectful manner.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort using POS systems, order management tools, and email or chat platforms.
- Ability to work on-site in Mississauga, ON, including evenings and weekends as required by business needs.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a collaborative approach to working with diverse teammates and customers.
- Previous experience in furniture, appliances, or retail sales and a high school diploma or equivalent are considered assets.
