  • Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management across AR, AP, and inventory

Accounting Operations

  • Review and oversee day-to-day accounting activities including AP, AR, and general ledger entries
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
  • Support the ongoing development and enforcement of internal controls

Process Improvement

  • Identify and drive process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and scalability

Audit and Compliance

  • Support year-end audits and liaise with external accountants
  • Ensure all financial processes meet regulatory and policy requirements

Team Development

  • Mentor and support junior finance team members as the organization scales

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3 to 4 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
  • Experience in construction, project-based, or inventory-driven environments is strongly preferred
  • Strong foundation in financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Exposure to internal controls and process improvement initiatives
  • Strong ERP system experience; familiarity with implementation or optimization is an asset
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with non-finance stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and evolving environment
  • People leadership instincts with an interest in developing junior team members
  • Project management awareness, with an ability to balance competing priorities and deadlines

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to US entities or US GAAP
