About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.

A challenging and exciting role in a rapidly growing industry, Portfolio Analytics services across a diverse client base spanning hedge funds, private markets and multi-asset strategies across North America, the United Kingdom, Continental Europe and Asia. The Vice President of the Portfolio Analytics group will take a senior leadership role managing existing US client relationships, ensuring client retention, and driving sales, marketing and business development initiatives across the region. The team provides ad-hoc and regulatory risk reports that include, but are not limited to, exposure and P&L reports, limits monitoring, scenario analysis, stress testing, value-at-risk and fund performance analytics - supporting clients across a broad range of strategies and structures.

The role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with a wide range of securities, derivatives and structured products in many currencies traded across global markets, and to lead the build-out of a structured, high-performing client service model across the US book. The individual's duties will include, but are not limited to, client onboarding project management, senior client relationship leadership, team management, and the training and development of staff - mirroring and helping to embed a proven operating model already established elsewhere in the group.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

Business Development & Commercial Acumen - Take an active, leading role in the CFS 'new business acquisition' process from a Portfolio Analytics perspective, effectively demonstrating our suite of Portfolio Analytics services to potential clients as well as new or enhanced services to existing clients, positioning this as a core driver of the role; evaluate the viability of current and new business proposals with emphasis on tactical issues and barriers
Client Relationship Management - Own and lead senior client relationships across the US book, participating in regular client calls and working closely with the global Client Integration team who oversee and project manage the firm-wide onboarding process
Reporting of Client KPIs - Own and maintain the KPI and RAG framework across the US client base, supervising junior team members in day-to-day tracking and reporting to support senior management oversight
Team Leadership & Management - Provide day-to-day leadership and management of the US Portfolio Analytics team, embedding a structured, KPI-driven client service model and ensuring consistent standards of client oversight and RAG reporting across the book
Communication - Use appropriate interpersonal styles and techniques to gain acceptance and help others understand the importance of the vision on the day-to-day reality of the risk reporting process
Building Networks - Proactively build strong relationships with Client Service and Business Development colleagues across CFS offices as a first priority, while also networking across departments (Valuation/Profit & Loss, Operations, Internal Audit, Integration, etc.) to establish collaborative business relationships at all levels and facilitate the accomplishment of business objectives
Leading & Managing Others - Embody the CFS culture, lead and inspire team through change, encourage others to seek opportunities for different approaches to address problems and opportunities
Organization & Resource Management - Oversee the US team with responsibility for pre-sales, onboarding, client coverage planning, and other new business initiatives
Building and Retaining Organizational Talent - Focus on identifying, developing, deploying and retaining key talent within the US team (including succession planning) for the future success of CFS, initiating strategies to develop internal talent through ongoing training and conducting timely performance evaluations.
Operational Decision-making - Commit and take responsibility for tactical decisions, adopting innovative approaches to move resolution of challenges to completion; communicate outcomes to all stakeholders and contribute to CFS vision and strategy
Execution - Execute business strategy by aligning communication, accountabilities, skills, internal processes and measurement to ensure sustainable and profitable results
Client Risk & Continuity Oversight - Identify and manage clients with elevated customisation and key person risk, ensuring documented continuity plans are in place and escalating concentration risk where appropriate

Qualifications

About You:

Someone who enjoys project-based work, collaboration across teams, and dealing directly with clients - no two days the same
Quantitative background with a Bachelor's/higher level degree or professional qualification (MSc, PhD, CQF, FRM, PRMIA, GARP, CFA, FIA)
Proficient in Excel, VBA, SQL, with Python experience in particular advantageous
Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Qlik Sense (or Tableau) and Jaspersoft is a plus
7–10 years' experience in investment and regulatory risk reporting and performance analytics in funds/asset management/banking/insurance - including hedge fund, private markets and multi-asset strategies , with demonstrated experience in client relationship leadership, team management, pre-sales, onboarding and business development
Prior experience managing or supervising a client-facing team is required
Knowledge of market, credit, liquidity and counterparty risk measurement and management under regulatory frameworks such as Form PF, Form CPO-PQR, Annex IV, Basel III/CRD IV/CRR and Solvency II is advantageous
Candidates must be willing to travel to the United States for business purposes

Salary Range: $115,000 - 155,000
