Your role at Clorox:

The Plant HR Generalist serves as the primary day-to-day HR resource for the Brita Plant, providing practical support to employees, supervisors, and managers on HR policies, recruitment, onboarding, routine employee relations, attendance management, performance support, engagement activities, training coordination, and HR program execution. This role also serves as the centralized payroll and benefits administration resource for both the Glad and Brita manufacturing sites.

In this role, you will:

Key Responsibilities:

Brita Site HR Support:

Serve as the first point of contact for Brita employees and leaders on routine HR matters.
Provide day-to-day guidance on HR policies, procedures, programs, employee questions, and site practices.
Support attendance management, routine performance discussions, employee concerns, employee relations and workplace issue resolution.
Partner with the Manufacturing Human Resources Manager on complex investigations, corrective action, accommodation, or matters with broader site or precedent impact.
Own hourly and summer student recruitment execution for Brita, including requisition coordination, job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, offer administration, and pre-employment follow-up.
Coordinate onboarding, orientation, employee documentation, and new hire integration for Brita employees.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure workforce changes are processed accurately and timely.
Support workforce planning activities by gathering data, preparing reports, and executing agreed actions under the direction of the Manufacturing Human Resources Manager.
Support employee engagement activities, communication, recognition, and local HR program execution at Brita.
Support the execution of the talent and people strategy at the Brita site by partnering with leaders on people priorities established by the Manufacturing HR Manager.

Training Coordination, HR Operations, and Reporting:

Coordinate training logistics, records, compliance tracking, and program administration for Brita and, where applicable, both manufacturing sites.

Maintain HRIS data, personnel files, organizational charts, headcount reporting, attendance data, and core HR metrics.
Support audits, compliance documentation, policy rollouts, communication plans, and HR process improvements.
Identify opportunities to simplify HR administration and improve employee and leader experience across the manufacturing sites.

Payroll and Benefits Operations (Glad & Brita)

Own payroll and benefits operations for the Glad and Brita manufacturing sites, ensuring effective delivery, process integrity, compliance, issue resolution, and a positive employee experience.
Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll and benefits matters across both sites, providing guidance and support to employees, leaders, and HR partners.
Manage end-to-end payroll and benefits processes, including employee transactions, data quality, audits, reporting, issue resolution, and coordination with internal and external partners.
Coordinate benefits, leaves, disability, accommodation, and return-to-work processes, ensuring timely administration, accurate documentation, and appropriate stakeholder follow-up.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance service delivery, and drive consistency across manufacturing payroll and benefits practices.

What we look for:

Qualifications:

Strong HR generalist foundation with practical experience supporting employees and leaders in an operational, manufacturing, supply chain, or similarly fast-paced environment.
Highly organized with strong follow-through and the ability to manage recurring HR administration, payroll, benefits, employee documentation, and site priorities accurately and confidentially.
Sound judgment and discretion when handling employee matters, routine employee relations, attendance, performance support, leaves, accommodation documentation, and employee inquiries.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain policies, coordinate actions with leaders, and escalate appropriately.
Collaborative and service-oriented, with the ability to work effectively with employees, plant leaders, the Manufacturing Human Resources Manager, and HR Centers of Excellence.
Working knowledge of Ontario employment standards, human rights/accommodation principles, privacy, health and safety, and HR compliance expectations.
Experience with HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, Workday, ADP, or similar systems preferred.

Education Level/Degree

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience.
Advanced degree in Business, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field preferred.

Non-Sales: $71,596 - $110,257
Sales: $73,043 - $112,487
