You will report to the VP, Finance and work daily with sales, marketing, order management, finance and the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead Finance Business Partner for Sales and Marketing leadership, providing financial insights and influencing commercial decisions.
  • Lead monthly commercial performance reviews by customer, channel, brand, and SKU against Budget, Prior Year, and Forecast, identifying key drivers and recommending actions.
  • Own trade spend governance, including accrual accuracy, budget management, promotional ROI analysis, and post-event reviews.
  • Recommend opportunities to optimize, reallocate, or reduce trade spending to improve profitability.
  • Conduct price, mix, and volume analysis and support pricing architecture and price increase strategies.
  • Develop financial business cases for new product launches, product extensions, and SKU rationalization initiatives.
  • Analyze customer, brand, and product profitability to support portfolio strategy decisions.
  • Provide financial leadership and profitability analysis for Joint Business Planning (JBP) and annual customer negotiations.
  • Lead the Marketing month-end close process and manage forecasting and budgeting for brand and e-commerce spending.
  • Evaluate marketing investment effectiveness and recommend improvements to maximize return on investment.

  • Support the consolidation and development of company-wide forecasts, budgets, and business plans.
  • Prepare and present Monthly Business Review (MBR) packages with clear financial insights and recommendations for leadership.
  • Design, develop, and maintain driver-based forecasting and planning models.
  • Oversee month-end close activities for Sales and Marketing accounts, including reviewing and preparing trade and marketing accruals.
  • Partner with the Vice President, Finance, Operations Finance, and Controller on rolling forecasts, annual business planning, and reporting activities.
  • Lead ad hoc financial analyses related to customer profitability, product profitability, strategic initiatives, business cases, and capital investment requests.
  • Participate in the development of the commercial finance systems roadmap and support integration across ERP and reporting platforms.
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of automated dashboards and self-service reporting tools using Power BI, Sage X3, SD&A, and other reporting platforms.
  • Standardize customer, brand, and commercial performance reporting with a focus on actionable insights and key business drivers.
  • Streamline forecasting, reporting, and month-end close processes by improving efficiency, automation, and documentation.
  • Evaluate and support the implementation of new finance, planning, AI, and automation tools that enhance business decision-making and operational effectiveness.
