Summary
The Receiver is responsible for receiving materials, inspecting received materials, putting away all stock and completing replenishment of primary locations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Unloads and inspects shipments to ensure quality and accuracy of shipments.
- Designates received materials for storage or primary location.
- Processes receiving paperwork and completes receiving reports.
- Responds to internal enquiry, providing information regarding goods that have been or are to be received.
- Inspects material returned by customers and processes related paperwork.
- Investigates and locates lost stock.
- Checks in the computer for stock location and responds to employee questions regarding replenishment status.
- Pulls products from storage for replenishment and filling of customer orders.
- Check location for errors and stock checks
- Double checks materials for specified customers to minimize errors.
- Fills in for other warehouse staff to reduce workload or meet the deadlines of the department.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Support and follow internal health and safety programs and protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
