Responsibilities
Prevent and investigate financial losses from theft and fraud by conducting safe apprehensions, inspecting store security, and documenting incidents while preserving evidence. Coordinate with law enforcement and store leadership, communicate investigative outcomes, and promote asset protection awareness while prioritizing customer and associate safety.
Requirements
A high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in investigations, loss prevention, retail operations, security, or related studies are required. Candidates should have strong analytical, verbal communication, and report-writing skills; relevant licenses may be required where applicable, but lacking a security guard license does not prevent applying.
