In support of the SickKids 2030 Strategy, the Precision Child Health (PCH) Office and Office of Clinical Research are seeking a dynamic Program Coordinator to join their teams. Reporting to the Executive Director, Precision Child Health and Clinical Research Transformation, the Program Coordinator will work closely with the broader leadership of both portfolios; including operational, clinical, and scientific leaders.

The Program Coordinator will provide essential organizational scaffolding across both teams, including calendar management and scheduling, information management, goal and key performance indicator tracking, event coordination, and support for the full lifecycle of executive level committees through scheduling, work plan management, meeting documentation, action tracking, and follow-up.

We are looking for someone who is nimble, curious, confident with technology, and eager to lean into new opportunities. The successful candidate will use Microsoft 365 and emerging artificial intelligence tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to support effective ways of working. The role provides a unique opportunity to learn from diverse leaders and contribute to transformation work across SickKids.

Here Is What You'll Get To Do

Calendar and Meeting Coordination: Manage calendars and coordinate committee, team, and project meetings; including scheduling, email communications, and follow-up.
Committee Support: Maintain executive committee workplans and records, document discussions and decisions, track action items, and support committees throughout their lifecycle.
Information Management: Maintain SharePoint administration, document management, and the organization of information and team resources.
Goal Tracking and Reporting: Maintain data related to goals (OKRs) and key performance indicators. Including consolidating information, monitor progress, and supporting the development of reports and presentations.
Event Coordination: Support the planning and coordination of workshops, speaker series, symposia, and other events.
Presentation and Written Materials: Prepare initial drafts of presentations and written materials by gathering and synthesizing information, organizing content, and translating complex ideas into clear, concise, and audience-appropriate narratives.
Other Duties: The Program Coordinator will use their flexibility and adaptability to support additional ad hoc priorities as they emerge.

Qualifications

Here is What You'll Need:

Completion of a post-secondary degree/diploma in a related field (administration, health policy, public health, health planning).
2-3 years of experience administratively supporting and coordinating programs and projects.
Experience working in an academic, research, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other relevant organizations.
Proven track record of managing projects and events.

Skills

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Strong coordination and project management skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage calendars, scheduling, meetings, committees, and events.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to synthesize information into clear presentations and written materials.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; familiarity with artificial intelligence tools is an asset.
Comfortable tracking workplans, goals, key performance indicators, and budgets. Exposure to Objective and Key Results framework is an asset
Self-motivated, adaptable, curious, and able to work independently and across multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated commitment and actions in advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion objectives.
Research/ Hospital administration experience is an asset.
Experience in supporting corporate governance is an assets.
