The Latest Scoop is looking for a Senior Style Advisor to join our Bayshore team in Ottawa. You’re an experienced retail sales professional who loves personal styling, builds lasting guest relationships, and inspires others through your service, energy, and results.

Founded in Vancouver in 2004, The Latest Scoop is a female-owned lifestyle concept store bringing together fashion, accessories, footwear, home décor, and gifts. Our purpose is simple: Bring Joy.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Senior Style Advisor, you’ll lead by example on the sales floor. You’ll create personalized shopping experiences, take ownership of your sales performance, and help fellow Style Advisors develop their confidence and skills.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Welcome guests and build connections through thoughtful styling and genuine conversation.
• Create complete looks that reflect each guest’s preferences, needs, and lifestyle.
• Meet or exceed individual Sales Per Hour targets and contribute to store sales goals.
• Build lasting guest relationships that encourage repeat visits.
• Model the Six Steps of Scoop Selling and support teammates in applying their training.
• Mentor newer Style Advisors through practical guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback.
• Support store presentation, product replenishment, and attention to detail.
• Partner with store leadership to keep the team focused, positive, and accountable.

• Proven success in fashion retail sales, personal styling, or a related customer-facing role.
• A track record of achieving sales goals through attentive service and strong relationships.
• Confidence sharing your knowledge and helping others succeed.
