Original job description

.Performance Marketing Manager

myRocky is Canada’s leading digital health platform - built to make healthcare frictionless, stigma-free, and accessible. Founded in Toronto in 2021 by childhood friends with backgrounds in medicine and pharmacy, Rocky Health Inc. operates both sides of the patient experience: myRocky Clinic (licensed physicians, nurse practitioners, and mental health professionals) and myRocky Pharmacy (OCP-accredited, based in Mississauga). No middlemen, no handoffs, no waiting rooms.

Their platform addresses the health concerns most people avoid talking about - weight management, sexual health, hair loss, mental health, and more - all through a fully digital, discreet model. Patients complete an online intake, get assessed by a licensed clinician, and receive their treatment plan and medication delivered to their door. Fast, private, and built around the patient.

The growth is real: 350,000+ Canadians served, coverage in all 10 provinces, and brand partnerships that reflect serious cultural momentum - Toronto Blue Jays, Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Argonauts, and the NBA, including presenting partnership of the 2026 NBA Playoffs in Canada. myRocky is a platform reshaping how Canadians think about their health.

Official partner: Toronto Blue Jays, Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Argonauts, and the NBA

About the Role

myRocky is scaling its paid acquisition efforts and looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to take hands-on ownership of campaign strategy, execution, and optimization. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this person will manage paid media across Meta and TikTok, with opportunities to explore additional channels as the business grows.

The initial focus will be on growing myRocky’s weight management offering, including GLP-1 treatment programs. You’ll develop campaigns that connect with the right audience, improve customer acquisition efficiency, and turn meaningful advertising investment into sustainable growth.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable working directly in ad accounts, making budget decisions, interpreting attribution data, and translating performance insights into clear creative briefs. You’ll have dedicated creative support and work closely with a technically experienced marketing leader, with the autonomy to own day-to-day performance.

Paid Media Strategy & Ownership

Own the day-to-day strategy, execution, and optimization of paid acquisition campaigns across Meta and TikTok
Build acquisition plans aligned with patient growth, revenue, and customer acquisition cost targets
Lead campaign setup, audience testing, budget allocation, bidding, and ongoing account management
Prioritize growth within weight management while supporting acquisition across other treatment categories
Identify opportunities to scale successful campaigns while maintaining acquisition efficiency
Evaluate opportunities across additional platforms, including AppLovin and potentially Google, as the channel mix evolves

Campaign Optimization & Experimentation

Build a structured testing roadmap across audiences, creative concepts, messaging, formats, and landing page experiences
Monitor campaign performance and make timely decisions about where to increase, reduce, or reallocate spend
Diagnose performance changes and translate findings into clear next steps
Partner with the broader marketing team to identify friction between ad engagement and patient conversion
Document learnings and build repeatable approaches to testing and scaling

Creative Strategy & Collaboration

Work closely with a dedicated creative resource to develop and iterate performance-focused advertising
Write clear briefs grounded in customer insights, campaign data, and platform-specific best practices
Partner with the Head of Brand to ensure messaging and creative remain consistent with myRocky’s positioning
Develop messaging that resonates with women aged 30–60, a key audience for the weight management offering
Use creative performance insights to guide new concepts, refresh assets, and address ad fatigue
Coordinate with lifecycle marketing to create a consistent experience from initial interest through conversion

Attribution & Performance Analytics

Evaluate acquisition across a longer consideration window, recognizing that customers may take 30–60 days to convert
Use Northbeam and other reporting tools to understand performance beyond platform-reported results
Work with technical support to maintain reliable tracking, custom conversion events, and reporting
Track and communicate key metrics, including customer acquisition cost, conversion rate, return on ad spend, and acquisition volume
Turn campaign and attribution data into practical recommendations for spend, creative, and channel strategy
Provide clear performance updates to the VP of Marketing, including results, learnings, and priorities

Cross-functional Collaboration & Execution

Partner with the VP of Marketing on growth priorities while independently owning day-to-day campaign execution
Work with brand, creative, lifecycle, and technical colleagues to launch and optimize campaigns efficiently
Coordinate campaign requirements, timelines, and creative production needs
Ensure campaigns follow applicable advertising platform policies and myRocky’s internal review requirements
Build clear processes for campaign management, reporting, and experimentation as paid acquisition scales

About You

Proven hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns directly within Meta Ads Manager, alongside experience executing and optimizing TikTok campaigns
Experience personally managing at least $100,000 in monthly advertising spend; experience managing $250,000+ per month is strongly preferred
A track record of improving acquisition efficiency and scaling campaigns against measurable business targets
Demonstrated success acquiring women aged 30–60, ideally for subscription products or services with a premium monthly commitment
Experience in DTC, ecommerce, subscription, consumer health, or a comparable consumer-focused business; telehealth experience is an asset but not required
Hands-on experience with Northbeam, Triple Whale, or a comparable attribution platform, with the ability to interpret performance beyond native ad dashboards
An understanding of longer purchase journeys, custom conversions, and the importance of reliable tracking
Strong creative judgment and the ability to translate performance data into actionable briefs and testing ideas
Comfortable moving between detailed account execution and broader budget and growth decisions
Able to work independently, take ownership of results, and communicate clearly across a fast-moving team
Curious, analytical, and motivated by testing, learning, and improving performance

The Extras that Matter

Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus
Hybrid flexibility for GTA-based candidates, with remote arrangements considered for the right person
Direct ownership of paid media performance and meaningful advertising budgets
Dedicated creative support to bring campaign ideas and testing plans to life
The opportunity to work closely with an experienced VP of Marketing who understands paid media execution
Room to shape acquisition strategy and explore new channels as the business grows
Work at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and consumer marketing
A mission that matters - helping more Canadians access discreet, convenient healthcare
