Controller

Our client, a family owned company is looking for a Controller to join them on a 3 month assignment. The role is working 5 days onsite at their offices in Woolwich Ontario.

Our client is looking for, hands-on Controller who can step in, take ownership of the accounting function, and bring structure, accuracy, and accountability to the department.

The immediate priority will be to clean up and streamline existing accounting processes, particularly accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing. The Controller will also play a key role in cash flow management and ensuring the business has accurate and reliable financial information to support operations.

Requirements

• Accounting designation (CPA preferred)
• Strong, hands-on, full-cycle controllership experience
• Proven experience managing and improving accounting processes
• Sage accounting software experience
• MIS / Accura Systems experience considered an asset
