Are you our next Maintenance Engineer?
The Maintenance Engineer provides in depth support for plant facilities mechanical or electrical systems (rotating and stationary) to increase the facility's overall reliability. Tasks relating to this job include preliminary or detailed project scoping, scheduling, cost estimating, procurement, supervision, and construction management. Work in conjunction and independent of the 2nd maintenance engineer.
What will you do?
- Support operations and maintenance refinery to improve equipment reliability by: performing detailed engineering calculations and correlate data for decision process; project management for maintenance activities; communicating the maintenance and efficiency opportunities
- Support maintenance planners, tradespersons, and supervisors with technical expertise, project management, and management of change.
- Plan and schedule maintenance projects. Complete risk-based assessments, recommending remedial actions, and organizing third party inspections and work.
- Partner with Capital to incorporate appropriate maintenance and reliability improvements for new equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, training, safety improvements.
What do you need for this role?
- Bachelor's degree required, major in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering
- Proven communication skills both verbal and written, extremely organized, good interpersonal skills, cooperative, able to work with and lead cross-functional teams
- Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP
Engineer II
- 2+ years of Engineering experience
Engineer III
- 4+ years of Engineering experience
Engineer Senior
- 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment managing programs associated with reliability.

Responsibilities
Improve plant equipment reliability by performing engineering analyses, managing maintenance projects, and communicating maintenance and efficiency opportunities. Provide technical support to planners, tradespersons, and supervisors; plan and schedule work; assess risks and coordinate inspections; and contribute to reliability improvements, safety, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering is required, along with strong written and verbal communication, organization, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Experience requirements vary by level: 2+ years for Engineer II, 4+ years for Engineer III, and 8+ years in manufacturing reliability program management for Senior Engineer.
