The Performance Code is a global psychology performance media platform 2,400+ five-star reviews, 250,000+ monthly views, 50,000+ followers from 5 episodes with zero ad spend. We interview elite athletes, founders and executives on how they think and execute under real pressure.
We are looking for one person to own the creative direction and show production of everything we do from the full episode experience to the reels that make clips go viral, to the guests who make people stop and listen. You will work directly alongside the founders every single day. Your name will be on everything we build.
If you are looking for a safe internship where someone tells you what to do this is not it.
If you want to build a show that matters and have the creative freedom to shape how it sounds, looks and who sits in the chair keep reading.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
The Full Episode - Show Production
→ Watch every episode with fresh eyes and identify what is working and what needs to change - pacing, questions, format, structure, energy
→ Develop the show format - how long should episodes be, what segments should exist, how should conversations open and close
→ Research every guest before they record - their story, their business, their best quotes, their most compelling moments from other interviews - and brief the hosts accordingly
→ Write episode titles, descriptions and YouTube chapters that make people click and keep watching
→ Work with Valerii (videographer) on how episodes are filmed - camera angles, lighting, set design, visual quality
→ Identify the 3 to 5 most powerful moments in every episode - the lines, the admissions, the insights - and flag them for reel production
→ Continuously raise the standard of what a Performance Code episode looks, sounds and feels like
The Reels - Short Form Content
→ Own the reel strategy for every episode - which clips to pull, what hooks to use, what angles will travel furthest
→ Write hooks, captions and on-screen text for every reel across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn
→ Direct the edit brief for Valerii - exactly how each reel should be cut, what text goes on screen, where the music hits, what the first 3 seconds look like
→ Study what is performing on every major performance and business podcast right now - Diary of a CEO, Modern Wisdom, The Venture, Lex Fridman - and apply those learnings to TPC weekly
→ Track reel performance - what is getting views, saves and shares - and use that data to make the next batch better
→ Build a content calendar across all platforms - consistency is the floor, not the ceiling
Guest Research & Booking Support
→ Build and maintain a target guest list - this is the most important document in the show's long-term success
→ Research and identify the best possible guests for The Performance Code specifically:
- Founders with $10M+ annual revenue who have a compelling performance story
- Startups doing something genuinely interesting - not just a good product, a founder with a story worth hearing
- Elite athletes at the national or international level - team sport, individual sport, combat sport
- Executives who have performed under real pressure and are willing to be honest about it
- → Write the initial outreach messages for Eduard to review and send - personalised, specific, built to get a yes from someone who gets a hundred pitches a week
- → Research each confirmed guest thoroughly before recording - 3 to 5 pages of background, key talking points, suggested questions, potential viral moments based on what they have said publicly before
- → Identify the angle that makes each guest unique for TPC's audience specifically - not just who they are, but why the TPC audience needs to hear this particular conversation
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Two things that rarely live in the same person.
Obsessive creative taste - you can watch a 60-minute episode and immediately know which 90 seconds will make someone's jaw drop. You understand why some reels travel and others do not. You have a point of view on what great looks like and you are not afraid to say it.
Relentless research drive - you can spend four hours going deep on a founder or athlete you have never heard of and come out knowing exactly why they belong on this show and exactly what question nobody has ever asked them.
