Client Job Title: Sr Project Engineer
Duration: Full Time Perm
Hours: Fulltime
Hybrid/Remote: Onsite
Location: Montreal, QC
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in electrical (preferred), civil, or mechanical engineering
- Good understanding of PV, Storage, and/or Wind technology, preferably solar
- Previous experience of 7+ years on renewable energy projects is required
- Minimum 2+ years as a project engineer
- Requires diversified knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and engineering principles and practices required to produce safe, efficient, reliable, easy-to-operate and maintain, and cost-effective designs
- Experienced with various Microsoft and engineering software including AutoCAD, ETAP, and/or any other power system software
- Experience/knowledge with PV tooling software is preferred (i.e., PVSyst, PVCAse, System Advisory Model)

Responsibilities
Develop engineering designs for renewable energy projects that are safe, efficient, reliable, maintainable, and cost-effective. Apply relevant engineering principles, codes, and standards, using engineering and power-system software to support project delivery.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is preferred, with civil or mechanical engineering also accepted, along with at least seven years of renewable energy project experience and at least two years as a project engineer. Candidates should understand PV, storage, and/or wind technologies and be experienced with relevant codes, standards, engineering software, and preferably PV design tools.
