Key Responsibilities

HR Data & Administration

Verify, enter, and maintain core employee data transactions in the HRIS system for both US and Canadian Salaried/Hourly Employees, including new hires, rehires, organizational changes, transfers, and terminations.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of all sensitive personal information, banking details, and employee files.
Communicate and follow up proactively with field projects and business units to collect required employee paperwork in a timely manner.
Resolve basic data discrepancies and act as a reliable liaison between Shared Services and internal business units for general enquiries.

Benefit Administration & Data Entry

Perform timely and accurate data entry for employee benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations within internal platforms and vendor portals.
Support the transactional upkeep and tracking of Group Benefits, Savings Plans, Pensions, and retirement accounts.
Audit and validate benefit data regular inputs to ensure consistency between HR records, benefit platforms, and downstream systems.
Assist in clarifying standard benefit inquiries and documentation requirements for employees and managers.

Accountability & Confidentiality: High integrity in managing sensitive employee relations information, compliance policies, and data security.
Customer Service Mindset: A proactive approach to helping internal stakeholders and maintaining supportive working relationships within the team.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

Experience: 2-3 years of experience in an HR administrative, data entry, or shared services operations role.
System Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Oracle HRIS (strongly preferred); experience or familiarity with ADP software is an asset.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in data entry and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel) for managing employee lists and documentation trackers.
Education: Post-secondary education in Human Resources Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Traits: A self-starter with a structured mindset who can manage multiple tasks to completion under tight operational constraints with minimal supervision.
