We’re looking for driven and motivated Business Development Representatives to join our team across New Brunswick. If you thrive on building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and turning connections into results, this could be the opportunity for you.

About the Role

You will own trade relationships across our full product range: landscaping and hardscape, masonry, and non-masonry cladding. This is a builder’s role; you are at the counter helping a mason price a job in the morning, on a jobsite with a landscape contractor in the afternoon and walking a dealer’s pro desk through a new product line the next day.

What You’ll Do

Field Sales (Outside)

Call regularly on landscape contractors, masonry contractors, homebuilders, and siding/exterior contractors throughout your region
Manage the local building supply dealer network - regular pro desk visits, counter staff product training, display and literature support, and joint calls on their contractor customers
Visit active jobsites to check in on crews, resolve product issues, and identify upcoming work
Run lunch-and-learns, contractor breakfasts, and dealer product days; represent the company at local home shows and trade events
Identify projects early through builder relationships, permit activity, and architect and designer contacts

Branch Sales (Inside)

Serve walk-in trade and retail customers at the counter; quote, take orders, and coordinate delivery scheduling
Prepare budgetary material takeoffs and quotations from plans and drawings
Follow up on open quotations and convert them to orders
Keep yard displays, showroom samples, and literature current and presentable
Support credit applications and work with accounts receivable to resolve account issues

Administration

Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and call records in CRM
Provide monthly forecasts and report on market activity, competitive pricing, and lost business
Contribute to seasonal planning - pre-season contractor programs, spring stocking orders, and fall closeout

What You Bring

Three or more years of sales experience in building materials, construction supply, or a related trade; experience spanning more than one of our product categories is a strong asset
Working knowledge of hardscape, masonry, or exterior cladding installation - enough to talk credibly with a crew on site
Ability to read plans and produce budgetary material takeoffs
Comfort moving between transactional counter work and relationship-driven field selling
Valid New Brunswick driver’s license and a clean driving abstract
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in all seasons
Bilingual English/French is a must.
Solid Excel skills and disciplined CRM habits

Responsibilities

Develop trade relationships and sales across landscaping, hardscape, masonry, and cladding products through field visits, jobsite support, dealer engagement, and customer events. Serve trade and retail customers at the branch counter, prepare quotes and material takeoffs, maintain CRM records, and report forecasts and market activity.

Requirements

Candidates need at least three years of sales experience in building materials, construction supply, or a related trade, along with working knowledge of relevant installation practices and the ability to read plans and prepare budgetary takeoffs. A valid New Brunswick driver’s license, clean driving abstract, ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in all seasons, English-French bilingualism, solid Excel skills, and disciplined CRM habits are required.
