Senior Project Manager - Architectural Millwork

Mississauga, ON | Permanent, full-time | Fully on-site

Lead custom architectural millwork projects from award through fabrication, installation, and closeout. We’re recruiting for a confidential client serving commercial, hospitality, retail, institutional, and entertainment markets.

Compensation: Up to $125,000 CAD in total compensation, depending on experience. There is flexibility for the right candidate.

The role

You’ll be the main point of contact for assigned projects, coordinating clients, internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors. You’ll keep scope, budgets, schedules, production, and installation aligned through final completion.

What you’ll do

• Manage architectural millwork projects from contract award to closeout.
• Review contracts, architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate engineering, drafting, purchasing, production, shipping, installers, and subcontractors.
• Track project budgets, schedules, costs, and risks; manage change orders and invoicing.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, approvals, material orders, and project documentation.
• Confirm site dimensions and readiness, and resolve design, fabrication, and installation issues.
• Track deficiencies and deliver as-builts, warranties, and closeout packages.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders throughout each project.

What we’re looking for

• Senior project management experience in architectural millwork or a closely related field.
• At least five years managing relevant millwork projects.
• Strong understanding of custom wood millwork, fabrication, and installation.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, change orders, and client relationships.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work fully on-site in Mississauga.

Assets

• Experience with commercial, hospitality, retail, institutional, or entertainment projects.
• Familiarity with AWMAC or AWI standards.
• Experience with project management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar.
