Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Payments with strong expertise in payment systems and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Wire Payments, SWIFT, FED Payments, and ISO 20022 messaging standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for payment processing initiatives.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into detailed specifications.
- Perform data analysis and validation using SQL to support business decisions and system enhancements.
- Analyze Wire Payment workflows and payment message formats including SWIFT, FED, and ISO 20022.
- Create process flows, business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories.
- Support testing activities including UAT planning, execution, and defect management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and business insights using data analytics and reporting tools.
- Facilitate meetings, drive discussions, and manage stakeholder expectations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) / Business Analyst.
- Strong experience in Payments Domain, specifically:
- Wire Payments
- SWIFT Messaging
- FED Payments
- ISO 20022 Standards
- Strong SQL skills with hands-on data analysis experience.
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
- Experience working with business and technical teams to deliver enterprise solutions.
