Original job description

Position: Business Development Associate (Part-Time)

Location: Mississauga, ON - Hybrid

Hours: Approximately 100 hours per month, with flexible scheduling

Compensation: $20/hour base pay plus commission

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, entry-level Business Development Associate to help grow our Managed Service Provider (MSP) and staffing client base. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients generating interest, booking meetings, and supporting the transition from initial outreach to signed engagements.

This is a great opportunity for recent graduates, career changers, or anyone looking to build a career in sales, business development, or staffing. The role includes clear performance targets, hands-on coaching, and opportunities to grow within the organization. Business development associates typically identify opportunities, build client relationships, and support sales teams in meeting revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new MSP and staffing opportunities through cold calls, email outreach, LinkedIn, and light networking.
Qualify prospective clients, schedule meetings or demos, and hand off qualified opportunities to the delivery or recruiting teams.
Support the team in implementing MSP solutions and addressing client staffing needs.
Maintain accurate records of outreach activity, pipeline status, meetings, and client notes in the CRM.
Assist with client onboarding, follow-up check-ins, and ongoing relationship management after the sale.
After onboarding, collaborate closely with the recruiting team and support candidate engagement and communication.
Perform general administrative and office-support tasks as needed.

Qualifications

0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, customer service, or another client-facing role.
New graduates and career changers are encouraged to apply.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls and speaking with new people.
Interest in staffing, MSP/VMS programs, or B2B services.
Organized, coachable, detail-oriented, and motivated by performance targets and commission.
Basic familiarity with CRM or AI tools is an asset.
Prior outbound sales or cold-calling experience is preferred, though not required.
Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow within the role.

What We Offer

Part-time, 3 Days onsite
Entry-level opportunity with training and mentorship.
Base hourly pay plus commission.
Exposure to MSP, staffing, recruitment, and B2B sales processes.

Equal Opportunity Statement

We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
