Role: Process Engineer with Payments
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid 3 days)
Duration: Contract
We are seeking experienced Process Engineers with strong Payment’s domain expertise to drive end-to-end process transformation, operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives within the customer’s Payments organization.
Priority: Candidates with Canadian Banking and Payments transformation experience are highly preferred.
Key Requirements
- 7-10+ years of Process Engineering experience
- Strong Payments domain knowledge:
- High Value Payments (HVP) & Low Value Payments (LVP)
- SWIFT and ISO 20022
- Foreign Exchange (FX) processing
- Nostro/Vostro accounting
- Liquidity Management
- Payment Operations & Risk Management
- Expertise in process improvement methodologies:
- Lean
- Six Sigma
- Lean Six Sigma
- DFSS
- Business Process Reengineering (BPR)
- Experience with process mapping, root cause analysis, process redesign, and operational excellence initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Banking and Financial Services experience required
Preferred Certifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end process improvement and transformation initiatives.
- Analyze, redesign, and optimize payment operations processes.
- Identify efficiency, risk reduction, and automation opportunities.
- Develop process maps, metrics, and improvement roadmaps.
- Partner with Business, Operations, Technology, and Risk teams.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the enterprise.
