Position: Python Automation Engineer
Location: Halifax – Hybrid
Job Description/ Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a Temporal Automation Engineer with strong experience building workflow automation solutions using Temporal and Python.
- The engineer will support a strategic initiative focused on automating onboarding processes through AI-agent-driven capabilities across enterprise teams.
- Temporal will serve as the orchestration layer for coordinating complex, multi-step onboarding workflows across EA, EIP, EES, and other participating teams.
- The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an evolving design environment, partnering with architects, engineers, product owners, and delivery teams to define, build, test, and operate durable workflow automation.
- Experience with Golang is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop durable workflow automation using Temporal and Python.
- Build Temporal workflows, activities, signals, queries, retries, timers, and error-handling patterns.
- Integrate Temporal workflows with AI agents, internal APIs, enterprise services, event-driven systems, and onboarding platforms
