Position: Security Technical Program Manager
Location: North York, ON – Hybrid
Summary:
Security Technical Program Manager with expertise in AI Security, Agentic AI, Cybersecurity Research, Product Evaluation, Technical Due Diligence, and Emerging Security Technologies, leading initiatives from concept through enterprise deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cybersecurity research and innovation programs from ideation through enterprise implementation.
- Develop program roadmaps, milestones, success metrics, dependencies, and deliverables for cybersecurity initiatives.
- Coordinate the development of AI security harnesses, agentic AI workflows, and AI-enabled security automation solutions.
- Facilitate research, experimentation, and proof-of-concepts across AI Security, Application Security, Quantum/PQC, Blockchain, and other emerging technologies.
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle activities including research, prototyping, testing, benchmarking, validation, recommendations, and operationalization.
- Drive technical evaluation and benchmarking of cybersecurity platforms, products, vendors, and startup technologies.
- Conduct technical due diligence and independent validation of product capabilities, security effectiveness, scalability, architectural fit, and integration complexity.
- Collaborate with security researchers, software engineers, architects, cloud teams, and stakeholders to translate research concepts into practical security solutions.
- Coordinate AI red teaming, vulnerability research, autonomous penetration testing, and security tooling initiatives.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, blockers, and resource requirements while ensuring timely resolution.
- Develop technical recommendations, research findings, evaluation reports, and executive presentations for leadership review.
- Establish repeatable evaluation methodologies and measurable success criteria for cybersecurity innovations and product assessments.
- Support interactions with technology vendors, cybersecurity startups, accelerators, venture teams, and external stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong expertise in AI Security, LLMs, AI Agents, Agentic Workflows, and AI Security Frameworks.
- Experience managing complex cybersecurity programs and technical initiatives.
- Hands-on knowledge of Application Security, Quantum/PQC, Blockchain Security, Cloud Security, and Security Automation.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity product evaluation, benchmarking, and technical due diligence.
- Familiarity with AI Red Teaming, Autonomous Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Research, and Emerging Security Technologies.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering, architecture, and research teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Research publications, patents, open-source security contributions, startup experience, or technical innovation achievements.
- Experience evaluating advanced AI and cybersecurity technologies.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CSSLP, CISM, or equivalent.
