Role: Techno-Functional Business Systems Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON (3 days onsite)
Duration: Contract
Seeking a 5–7+ yrs Techno-Functional Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong experience in Digital Channels and Direct Sales Platforms. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology teams, gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and supporting the delivery of digital sales and customer-facing solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile - A highly skilled Techno-Functional BSA with hands-on experience in digital direct sales channels, capable of driving requirements and solution delivery for customer-facing digital insurance platforms while effectively collaborating with both business and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements for digital sales initiatives.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, UX teams, and technology teams to deliver digital channel enhancements.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Support end-to-end solution design, testing, implementation, and post-production validation.
- Analyze customer journeys, digital sales funnels, and channel performance opportunities.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, requirements sessions, and solution reviews.
- Collaborate with Agile teams throughout the SDLC to ensure successful delivery.
Required Skills
- 5-7+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience.
- Strong techno-functional BSA background.
- Experience with Digital Channels, including web, mobile, online customer portals, and digital sales platforms.
- Direct experience supporting Digital Direct Sales Channels within insurance, banking, or financial services.
- Expertise in requirements gathering, process mapping, user stories, and UAT support.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Insurance domain experience, preferably Property & Casualty (P&C) or Personal Insurance.
- Experience with customer acquisition, quote-to-bind, policy purchase, or digital onboarding journeys.
- Knowledge of CRM, digital marketing integrations, and customer experience platforms.
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and Azure DevOps
