Organizational Change Manager

Due Date: October 01, 2026

Term: The preference for start date is as soon as possible. The initial term for this role(s) will conclude March 31, 2028.

Location: The resource(s) will be required to work and be located on site at Regina, SK (Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm). Hybrid or remote work arrangements will not be considered for this position.

Mandatory Requirement (Pass/Fail)

Resource must be Prosci/ADKAR certified. Please provide copy of certificate.
Resource must be able to work and be located full-time on site at Regina, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Description of Requirements:

Formal training in Change Management with Prosci/ADKAR Certification is required for this role; as well as past experience in delivering organizational change management content to support the delivery of Organizational Change Management (OCM) projects on an enterprise-wide scale. Proposals are to provide examples of OCM experience including a detailed discussion of their roles, responsibilities, and deliverables on the initiative. Proposals should also provide specific and qualitative verbiage of other areas where resource expertise can add value to this initiative and make our projects as successful as possible.

The Organizational Change Manager Resource is expected to use their experience and expertise to support the organizational change management efforts on the assigned project(s) through creation and delivery of organizational change management deliverables in alignment with the Prosci/ADKAR methodology and best practices. This role focuses on the creation of organizational change management work products and deliverables for distribution to the project team, project manager and/or business lead and relates to creation of work products for proofing by the project team, project manager and/or business lead and deployment through the sponsor assigned to the project(s). The Organizational Change Manager will functionally report to the Project Manager for the project.

The Organizational Change Manager Resource responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

Prepare for change by working with the project team through the Project Manager and/or Business Lead assigned to understand the project and assess the magnitude of change from the current state to post implementation.
Maintaining project documentation related to the organizational change management activities as per project standards and guidance.
Following Prosci/ADKAR methodology and the standards set out by Change and Business Solutions to deliver OCM for the project(s) and/or initiative(s).
Facilitating discussions for the purpose of gathering and understanding the stakeholders and impacts of the change.
Identify a set of actionable and targeted OCM activities and efforts to be included in the overall project plan.
Develop the required organizational change management deliverables including, but not limited to, the Change Management strategy, Change Management Plan, communication plan, sponsor engagement and reports, training plan, reinforcement plan and resistance management plan.
Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results, identify risks, issues and anticipated points of resistance and make recommendations as necessary.
Working independently and collaboratively with team members as required.

Ideally the resource will have (Relevant Skills and Experience):

Gas industry / utility knowledge.
Natural Gas Transmission & Storage company knowledge or experience.
Knowledge of Change Management Frameworks.
Experience leading Change Management on IT projects. Knowledge of IT systems and digital transformation projects to understand technical impacts on users.
Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to align change initiatives with project timelines.
Maintaining project documentation related to all the change management activities.
Facilitating discussions for the purpose of gathering and understanding the stakeholders and impacts of the change.
Experience delivering a Change Management Strategy, Change Management Plan including a communication plan, sponsor reports, training plan and resistance management plans.
Experience with conducting readiness assessments, evaluate results, identify risks, issues and anticipated points of resistance and make recommendations as necessary.
Experience working independently and collaboratively with team members.
Experience in knowledge sharing to ensure progressive realization of improvements within the change management standards.
North American job experience.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to prepare and deliver updates, training, and workshops.
