Hiring: Intermediate Java Developer – Java EE / Spring / AWS
• 7+ years of experience developing n-tier Enterprise applications using Java EE and strong hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java EE, application design, design patterns, deployment, troubleshooting, and unit testing.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Batch, and Spring Security.
• Strong experience with JPA, Hibernate, or MyBatis for ORM and enterprise application development.
• Excellent database experience with SQL, Stored Procedures, Oracle/PL-SQL, PostgreSQL, with Amazon Aurora/RDS highly desirable.
• Experience with AWS Cloud services such as Aurora Serverless, Athena, Amazon S3, ElastiCache, and OpenSearch.
• Experience with BPM/Rule Engine technologies, particularly Camunda BPM and Drools, is highly desirable.
• Front-end experience with React, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, or jQuery is required.
• Experience with Web Services, SOA, Agile/Scrum, CI, TDD, and automated testing will be an advantage.
• Location: Toronto – 5 days onsite at 222 Jarvis Street

Responsibilities

Requirements
Requires 7+ years of hands-on Java enterprise application development experience and strong expertise in Java EE, Spring, ORM technologies, databases, and front-end development. Experience with AWS, Camunda BPM, Drools, web services, Agile/Scrum, CI, TDD, and automated testing is also sought or considered advantageous.
