We’re Hiring: Senior AWS DevOps / Cloud Engineer
Location: Toronto, ON | Hybrid/Onsite as Required
We are seeking a Senior AWS DevOps / Cloud Engineer to build, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure supporting enterprise Pub/Sub applications and integration services.
🔹 Infrastructure as Code: Advanced hands-on experience with AWS CDK (Python & JavaScript) and AWS CloudFormation, including reusable constructs, stack architecture, deployments, and rollback procedures.
🔹 Serverless Engineering: Strong experience with AWS Lambda and API Gateway, including integrations, triggers, authentication, permissions, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
🔹 Containerization & Integration: Hands-on experience with Amazon ECS, Application Load Balancer (ALB), and NextGen Connect (Mirth) in AWS environments.
🔹 Application Support: Experience supporting containerized Java and Python applications, integration channels, configuration promotion, health checks, and deployment troubleshooting.
🔹 Cloud Security & Networking: Expertise in AWS IAM, least-privilege access, VPC, subnets, security groups, and secure application connectivity.
🔹 Operations & Reliability: Experience with logging, monitoring, incident response, root-cause analysis, infrastructure automation, and technical documentation.
Candidates with experience in AWS Fargate, Amazon ECR, CloudWatch, event-driven services, and healthcare integration platforms will be an added advantage.

Requirements
Requires advanced hands-on experience with AWS CDK and CloudFormation, plus strong experience with Lambda and API Gateway. Candidates should also have experience with ECS, ALB, NextGen Connect, Java or Python application support, AWS security and networking, and operational troubleshooting.
