Original job description

At Conexus, we are focused on supporting our members with their needs of today, while also helping them pursue their goals for the future. It’s more than conducting a banking transaction, it’s about providing insightful content, tools, expert advice, and a full suite of products to inspire confidence in their financial decision-making. We prioritize performance excellence, and our employees champion each member’s success, ultimately contributing to a thriving province.

We are curious, courageous, confident and committed. Our values ensure we consistently deliver outstanding member experiences. As employees, we are more than just individuals who come to work each day, each role is a vital part of Conexus.

As of January 1, 2026, Conexus, Cornerstone, and Synergy credit unions have merged into one provincial credit union serving over 200,000 members in 57 branches across 50 Saskatchewan communities.

We acknowledge that our Conexus offices and facilities are located on Treaty 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 lands. These are the traditional lands of the Cree, Dakota, Dene, Lakota, Nakota and Saulteaux peoples, as well as the homeland of the Métis.

The bigger picture

We're looking for a detail-oriented team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering exceptional service to come onboard as a Lending Operations Administrator II in a temporary, up to 18 months, opportunity. The preferred locations for this position are Yorkton and Emerald Park, however, this opportunity is open to any Conexus location, as long as space is available.

In this role, you'll provide timely, high-quality loan administration, processing, and support services in a hybrid lending environment supporting Commercial, Agriculture, and Consumer lending portfolios. You will prepare and distribute lending documentation, coordinate loan administration activities, and have an opportunity to identify, recommend, and share ideas that drive process improvements, enhance operational efficiency, and elevate the overall member experience.

How you'll be spending your time

Processing a variety of loan administration and operational transactions accurately and efficiently, including: documentation preparation, registrations, renewals, and transactional support across Agriculture, Commercial, Consumer lending, and mortgage portfolios
Supporting merger integration initiatives, contributing to process alignment, standardization, and operational readiness across lending functions
Serving as an escalation point for loan administration issues and inquiries, providing timely support and coordinating effective resolutions with internal teams and external partners
Assisting in the development of lending processes relating to the retail and operations areas, all while ensuring regulatory and operational requirements are met
Maintaining effective use of credit union and third-party systems for efficient tracking, processing and inquiries
Completing activities related to the proper maintenance and retention of office correspondence, loan files and other documentation
Completing and balancing reconciliations of internal accounts

The way people describe you

You are a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with commitment to accuracy
You are dependable and accountable, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
You are a strong communicator who builds positive working relationships with internal and external partners
You focus on member service and are committed to delivering exceptional member and employee experiences
You have the ability to comfortably work with technology and learn new systems
You possess a continuous learning mindset

The experience you bring

Post-secondary education in Business or a related field with 1 to 3 years of job-related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and financial or lending experience)
Working knowledge of lending regulatory and legislative guidelines is beneficial
Experience working with technology, software applications, and data entry processes; knowledge of DNA banking system is an asset, however, not required

Salary range

$51,389.43 - $64,237.60 with 5% Short Term Incentive Target

Benefits and perks

The success of our members relies heavily on the performance and accomplishments of our employees. That’s why we prioritize offering our team a variety of perks and benefits designed to support their success and well-being both at work and in their personal lives. Some of these additional benefits may include, but are not limited to:

Generous vacation benefits, giving you time to spend on what’s most important to you
Competitive benefit package options, covering all aspects of personal wellness

Preferred rates for all your banking needs, helping to make life more affordable

Depending on location of work, union membership may be required.

We are excited to welcome candidates who bring a blend of academic, professional and volunteer experience that sets them apart. Research shows that many applicants tend to apply only when they meet every qualification of the role. However, we encourage you to explore opportunities that closely match your skillset and experience. We truly value diverse backgrounds and varied experiences, as we are dedicated to creating inclusive and diverse workplaces. This opportunity closes on October 18, 2026, so apply now!
