Original job description

At Conexus, we are focused on supporting our members with their needs of today, while also helping them pursue their goals for the future. It’s more than conducting a banking transaction, it’s about providing insightful content, tools, expert advice, and a full suite of products to inspire confidence in their financial decision-making. We prioritize performance excellence, and our employees champion each member’s success, ultimately contributing to a thriving province.

We are curious, courageous, confident and committed. Our values ensure we consistently deliver outstanding member experiences. As employees, we are more than just individuals who come to work each day, each role is a vital part of Conexus.

As of January 1, 2026, Conexus, Cornerstone, and Synergy credit unions have merged into one provincial credit union serving over 200,000 members in 57 branches across 50 Saskatchewan communities.

We acknowledge that our Conexus offices and facilities are located on Treaty 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 lands. These are the traditional lands of the Cree, Dakota, Dene, Lakota, Nakota and Saulteaux peoples, as well as the homeland of the Métis.

The bigger picture

We’re looking for a highly motivated, forward-thinking person to come on board as our Team Leader, Business Support Centre. You will lead the Business Support team to provide and oversee the delivery of services to meet our members’ needs. This includes adapting to new technologies and providing knowledge and expertise to task forces, projects and testing environments.

The preferred location for this position is within Regina, Moosomin, or Saskatoon, however this opportunity is open to any Conexus location, as long as space is available.

How you’ll be spending your time

Coaching and empowering employees through thought provoking questions to analyze risk and provide exceptional experience to our peers and partners
Leveraging available technology to reduce barriers to serving members, improving their banking experience
Leading direct reports to successfully achieve individual learning plans and team goals
Co-facilitation of meetings, process change and collaboration sessions with neighboring departments

The way people describe you

You’re a driven individual who strives to grow the success of your team and can confidently coach your team members in a VUCA environment
You continuously look for opportunities to grow and develop your skillset
You are strongly aligned to our strategy and understand the Credit Union culture. You can provide feedback in a way that aligns to our values and encourages bold and creative solutions
You display flexibility in adapting to changing conditions and have the skills to work and operate within grey areas
You possess excellent interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills
You are confident engaging in critical conversations with your team as well as other stakeholders
You have a record of strong time management, planning and organization skills to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic work environment
Your analytical skills allow you to make decisions based on risk to the credit union and member impacts

The experience you bring

2+ years of demonstrated leadership skills in either a formal or informal role
2+ years of exposure to Agriculture and/or Commercial lending

Salary Range:

$78,175 - $97,714 with 10% Short Term Incentive Target

We are excited to welcome candidates who bring a blend of academic, professional and volunteer experience that sets them apart. Research shows that many applicants tend to apply only when they meet every qualification of the role. However, we encourage you to explore opportunities that closely match your skillset and experience. We truly value diverse backgrounds and varied experiences, as we are dedicated to creating inclusive and diverse workplaces. You might just be the ideal addition to our team that we’ve been searching for! This opportunity closes on October 4, 2026 so apply now!
