Rail Operator – Slave Lake (This is a Monday to Friday position starting at 7:00 am. No fly-in/fly-out or camp accommodations are provided.)

We manufacture, supply, transport and apply premium calcium chloride products for anti-icing, deicing and dust control. But that's not all. We also formulate custom fluids for, available for purchase or rental 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days a year.
Tiger is seeking Rail Operator at our Slave Lake, Alberta, facilities to safely and efficiently load Tiger’s of rail cars with calcium products, including completing required documentation and supporting daily rail operations.

- Assist with other operational duties as required.
- High school equivalency
- Previous industrial or rail operations experience would be an asset
- Understanding of workplace hazards and safe work practices
- Experience working on top of rail cars and cleaning inside tank cars would be an asset.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
- The following certifications would be considered an asset

Responsibilities
Load and wash rail cars carrying calcium products, follow rail securement regulations, and complete required safety assessments and work records. Maintain the work area and site, support daily rail operations, and assist with other operational duties as needed.
Requirements
A high school equivalency is required, along with an understanding of workplace hazards and safe work practices. Industrial or rail operations experience, experience working on rail cars or cleaning tank cars, and certifications in fall protection, confined space, H2S, or rail car securement are assets; strong communication, teamwork, and task-management abilities are also sought.
