About your role

We are hiring an SDR Manager to lead our Vancouver and Cork teams and build a consistent engine for qualified meetings and pipeline. You will coach SDRs, sharpen targeting and messaging, and work closely with Sales, Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, and Marketing Operations to improve conversion from first touch to sales opportunity.

Tigera works with technical buyers navigating Kubernetes networking and security, VM workloads on Kubernetes, and emerging AI security needs. You do not need to be a Kubernetes expert on day one, but you should be curious enough to learn the technology and help your team earn credible conversations with platform, infrastructure, networking, and security leaders.

This is a hands-on manager role. You will inspect the work, coach in real time, and build a repeatable motion while the team and market evolve.

This role is in person 4 days a week at our downtown office.

Vancouver salary range CAD $80,000 - CAD $100,000 base + generous bonus on meeting targets

You Will

Lead and develop the SDR team

Manage, coach, and develop SDRs in Vancouver and Cork, with a working cadence that supports both locations.
Set clear expectations for activity quality, account research, meeting qualification, and follow-through.
Review calls, emails, and account plans; provide specific coaching that improves conversations and conversion.
Help hire and onboard SDRs as the team grows.

Build a productive outbound motion

Partner with Sales and Marketing to prioritize accounts, buyer roles, and use cases.
Build and test relevant messaging, sequences, call approaches, and follow-up plays in Outreach.
Turn campaign, event, partner, and inbound interest into timely, well-qualified sales conversations.
Maintain clean handoffs with account executives, including meeting context, qualification notes, and next steps.

Own performance and improvement

Set goals and report on qualified meetings held, meeting-to-opportunity conversion, SDR-sourced pipeline, and productivity by rep and segment.
Use Outreach and CRM data to spot bottlenecks, test changes, and share what the market is telling us.
Work with Sales leadership to agree on meeting quality standards and review outcomes regularly.

You have

2+ Yrs experience coaching or managing SDRs in B2B technology sales, or a strong track record as an SDR team lead ready to take formal management responsibility.
Demonstrated ability to generate qualified meetings and pipeline through thoughtful outbound prospecting.
Hands-on experience with Outreach or a comparable sales engagement platform, plus disciplined CRM use.
Excellent spoken and written English, including the ability to coach clear, credible outreach to enterprise buyers.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; you can diagnose a conversion problem and coach a practical fix.
Interest in technical products and the ability to learn enough to ask useful questions and explain customer problems accurately.
Ability to work from the Vancouver office and collaborate regularly with teammates in Cork.

A degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field is a plus. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes, or cybersecurity is also a plus.
