We are an entrepreneurial team, passionate about shaping the future of shopping.

This position is for an existing vacancy.

About the Role
With more than 1 billion loyal users globally, TikTok is the ideal platform to deliver a brand new and exciting shopping experience to our users. TikTok is already the place where trends first surface, and where brands, creators, and consumers are already connected in meaningful ways. We are looking for passionate and talented people to join our commercial team in the Canada, to help build an e-commerce ecosystem that is innovative, secure, and intuitive for our users and partners alike.

Responsibilities:
- Acquire and incubate merchants to support category growth
- Discover innovative collaborative models that align to the merchant's short-term and long-term development plans, and invest platform resources effectively and efficiently
- Solve key challenges in business growth by strong collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Employ a consultative approach by offering strategic content, operations, creator/affiliate/agency partner, merchandising, and logistics solutions to all sellers
- Update active sellers on platform's product developments and new promotional opportunities

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidates who have 5+ years of experience in e-commerce business with mixed experience in both platform side and brand/merchant side is highly preferred;
- Track record of delivering & exceeding sales, GMV, or other commercial goals
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- A good team player, a fast learner, and open to changes

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with content platforms; experience in content-based e-commerce is highly preferred;
- Strong connections with brands and distributors are preferred.

【For Pay Transparency】 Toronto Compensation Description (Regular)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is CAD$ 97200- CAD$ 140400
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, restricted stock units and benefits.
Employees have day one access to extended health, dental, a group registered retirement savings plan (RRSP) with company match issued through a deferred profit sharing plan (DPSP), paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive paid holidays, vacation, and sick time.
The Company reserves the right to modify or change these benefits programs from time to time, with or without notice subject to compliance with local laws.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Candidates should have at least five years of e-commerce experience, ideally spanning both platform and brand or merchant roles, and a record of meeting or exceeding commercial goals. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, teamwork, adaptability, familiarity with content platforms, and preferably established brand or distributor connections are sought.
