Role Description The Technical Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area. Reporting to Head of Account Management, This role is responsible for managing assigned client accounts, building trusted relationships, and serving as the primary point of contact for technology-related needs. Day-to-day activities include coordinating managed IT services, overseeing technical support requests, and ensuring timely resolution of issues through effective troubleshooting and collaboration with internal teams. The Technical Account Manager will help define client technology roadmaps, participate in strategic planning, and align solutions with business objectives. The role also includes identifying opportunities to enhance services, supporting sales and renewal discussions, and maintaining accurate documentation and reporting for client environments.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Account Management and client relationship skills, including experience serving as a primary point of contact.
Candidates should possess Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills to understand issues, prioritize incidents, and coordinate effective resolutions.
Candidates should possess Sales and upselling skills to identify service improvements and support technology recommendations aligned with client goals.
Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and deliver technology initiatives on time and within scope.
Relevant experience in managed IT services, MSP environments, or IT consulting is beneficial.
Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams, demonstrate accountability, and manage multiple client priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco) are an asset.
