Operations Technology engineers create solutions that power the movement and custody of capital for Morgan Stanley’s clients. Shared Ops is part of Operations Technology and is a federated ecosystem of tools and services that provides
solutions for automating the manual execution of business functions, managing exception life cycles, and facilitating collaboration across various groups.
- Work closely with Operations to optimise workflows through artificial intelligence solutions.
- Collaborate with clients and subject-matter experts to translate business requirements into well-designed Python solutions.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and support of the Python library.
- Participate in prompt engineering and maintain prompts to keep them aligned with new LLM versions.
- Conduct regular testing and performance analysis.
- Participate in prompt benchmarking experiments and support ongoing monitoring and continuous improvement.
What do we expect from you ?
The qualifications and skills expected for this role :
• Required: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Hands-on experience building Python applications and excellent Python development skills.
- Experience with OpenAI and multiple LLM models, including testing and performance evaluation.
- Excellent enterprise application architecture and design skills.
- Knowledge of Linux, shell commands, and scripting.
- Experience with Agile development and good communication skills.
• Desired:
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Java development.
- Knowledge of system resiliency, observability, scalability, and performance.
- Experience with machine learning and vector databases.
- Prior experience in FinTech application development.
- Exposure to working in a global delivery team.
