About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a global engineering team building large-scale, distributed risk management applications. You'll work on mission-critical systems that process massive volumes of data in real time, supporting critical business and regulatory needs. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with Java, SQL, and Linux in a data-intensive environment, and is comfortable working within an Agile team spread across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new and enhance existing Market Risk applications
Work within a global Agile squad, applying Agile principles and DevOps practices
Collaborate directly with business partners
Shape tooling and technology to support better business processes and regulatory compliance

Required Skills

5+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java (server-side), Spring, and RDBMS
Experience with distributed data processing pipelines using Apache Spark, Python, and related tools
Strong object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
Solid understanding of multi-threaded applications and concurrency packages
Excellent critical thinking and analytical ability
Understanding of prompt/data context management and foundational model testing
Strong culture of unit testing (JUnit)
Strong experience with relational database logical modeling and optimized querying at scale
