Ready to be part of the action?

TMX Group is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Corporate Photographer to serve as our primary visual storyteller across our flagship TMX Market Centre and broader Toronto enterprise operations. In this high-visibility role, you will capture daily Market Opens and Closes, key market milestones, internal corporate events, executive portraits, and real-time visual displays on our iconic outdoor media tower. If you thrive in fast-paced live environments and possess an exceptional eye for corporate photojournalism

Job Location: Fully on-site (5 days/week in office) - based in Toronto, ON.

Key Accountabilities

  • Flagship Market Centre Event Coverage: Lead end-to-end photography coverage for daily Market Opens, Market Closes, corporate milestones, and high-profile client ceremonies at the TMX Market Centre.
  • Outdoor Digital Screen Capture: Execute timely, high-contrast photographic capture of client campaigns, milestone placements, and seasonal imagery displayed on the exterior digital tower across varying daylight and evening conditions.
  • Executive & Stakeholder Relations: Interface with composure and professionalism when directing and photographing visiting C-suite executives, government officials, board members, and international dignitaries.
  • Enterprise & Corporate Culture Coverage: Provide comprehensive visual coverage for internal enterprise events, town halls, employee engagement initiatives, panel discussions, and executive presentations across TMX Toronto offices.
  • Headshot & Portrait Library Management: Shoot, retouch, and maintain a centralized library of professional corporate headshots, team portraits, and editorial workplace imagery for internal and external communications.
  • Rapid Post-Production & Digital Asset Ingestion: Deliver rapid-turnaround editing, color correction, and retouching (including same-day delivery for real-time social media publishing across LinkedIn, X, and Instagram, as well as PR distributions).
  • Digital Asset Management (DAM): Catalog, tag, and archive all visual assets within the enterprise DAM system to maintain consistent metadata integrity, copyright compliance, and seamless cross-departmental access.
  • Equipment Oversight & Production Logistics: Maintain, organize, and manage inventory for all TMX-owned cameras, lenses, studio lighting, and mobile kits, recommending upgrades or specialized rental gear as needed.
  • Cross-Business Unit Support: Provide ad-hoc photographic support to various TMX business units (including TSX, TSXV, CDCC, and CDS) as scheduled.

Must Have(s)

  • Professional Experience: Proven professional photography experience specializing in corporate events, live-action photojournalism, public relations, or commercial assignments.
  • Portfolio Requirement: A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating mastery in live event coverage, corporate headshots, fast-paced action capture, and balanced outdoor lighting adaptation.
  • Technical Mastery: Advanced command of modern full-frame mirrorless/DSLR camera platforms, on- and off-camera flash/strobe systems, low-light handling, and mixed ambient lighting environments.
  • High-Contrast Competency: Demonstrated technical capability to balance extreme exposure differentials (e.g., capturing high-luminance digital outdoor screens against variable ambient daylight or night cityscapes).
  • Post-Processing & Software Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Lightroom and Photoshop) optimized for high-volume batch processing, retouching, and quick delivery workflows.
  • Executive Presence: Exceptional interpersonal communication and professional poise when collaborating with senior corporate executives, media representatives, and external dignitaries.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Willingness and ability to work on-site with schedules aligned to Market Centre programming, including early mornings and occasional evening events.

Nice to Have(s)

  • Prior experience managing or administering enterprise Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms.
  • Familiarity with financial services, capital markets, or exchange environments.
  • Basic video capture or hybrid multimedia skills.
