Job Description

Toast is recruiting on behalf of one of Canada’s largest professional services firms, a global advisory, audit and tax organization with more than 10,000 people across the country. The firm’s advisory practice helps major Canadian organizations design and scale generative and agentic AI, with a growing focus on bringing AI agents into production across enterprise functions. This Montreal-based Senior Manager, Senior Tech Lead role blends consulting, delivery leadership and hands-on technical work, guiding clients from AI strategy through to secure, measurable solutions built on the Microsoft ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead agentic AI engagements, defining target architectures, delivery roadmaps and technology choices across Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Power Platform, Dataverse, Microsoft Graph and Azure services
• Translate client business needs into prioritized, measurable agentic use cases tied to strategic goals, operational processes, change management and expected value
• Run executive, functional and technical workshops to scope opportunities, gather requirements, map user journeys and align stakeholders
• Design and build AI agents end to end, from prototype to production, using Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure OpenAI, Python, APIs, orchestration, prompt engineering and system integration
• Mentor a multidisciplinary team of developers, architects, data and ML engineers, business analysts and UX designers while holding a high bar for quality and documentation
• Integrate agents into complex client environments across Finance, HR, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Customer Service, with a strong focus on security, permissions and data governance
• Define reusable architecture patterns including multi-agent orchestration, human-in-the-loop workflows, RAG, knowledge bases, observability, evaluation, guardrails and escalation
• Build a responsible AI governance framework covering ethics, privacy, security, compliance, risk, traceability, performance monitoring and the full agent lifecycle
• Own day-to-day client relationships by clarifying priorities, flagging risks, reporting progress and keeping sponsors, IT teams and business users aligned
• Support business development through opportunity qualification, proposals, effort estimates, delivery approaches, demos and accelerators
• Stay hands-on by unblocking technical issues, reviewing deliverables, challenging solutions and making sure every agent delivers real business value
  
  

Requirements

• 7+ years delivering technology projects, with significant hands-on exposure to generative AI, intelligent automation or agentic AI in enterprise environments
• Consulting firm or advisory services experience is mandatory, including managing clients, structuring engagements and delivering in complex, ambiguous settings
• Strong practical expertise in the Microsoft agentic AI ecosystem, including Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Power Platform, Dataverse, Microsoft Graph, Entra ID and related security principles
• Hands-on skills in Python, REST APIs, system integration, cloud architecture, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering and model evaluation
• Proven track record shipping AI agent solutions from ideation and prototyping through deployment, support and continuous improvement in production
• Degree in computer science, software engineering, data science or a related field, paired with strong business acumen
• Experience leading and coaching multidisciplinary teams while staying close to execution and key technical decisions
• Background in Agile and DevOps delivery, including sprint planning, backlog management, solution reviews and client demos
• Ability to explain complex AI concepts clearly to executive, technical and non-technical audiences
• Fluency in French and English, written and spoken, with the ability to produce consulting-grade documentation and presentations (English is required to serve clients and colleagues across Canada)
