Role Description The Full Stack Engineer will work on-site full time at Tookli’s location in Montreal, QC, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of web applications from front end to back end. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing user interfaces, building and integrating server-side logic, designing APIs, and ensuring application performance, security, and scalability. The role involves collaborating closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into robust technical solutions, as well as reviewing code, writing tests, and participating in continuous improvement of the development process. The engineer will also help troubleshoot production issues, optimize existing features, and contribute to technical documentation and best practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including modern JavaScript frameworks preferably React and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
• Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills in one of these languages: C#, Typescript or Python, including API design, server-side programming, and database integration.
• Candidates should possess Software Development and Full-Stack Development skills to manage end-to-end application lifecycle.
• Candidates should possess experience with version control systems, testing frameworks, and secure coding practices.
• Relevant qualifications include a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Beneficial skills include familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Montreal, QC and to adapt to evolving technologies and project needs.
