Role Description This full-time iOS Developer role is an on-site position based in Mascouche, QC. The iOS Developer will design, build, and maintain high-quality iOS applications that interact with Open Innovation AI’s platforms and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing performance, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and ensuring robust security and reliability of mobile apps. The role involves close collaboration with backend engineers, product managers, and UX designers to translate requirements into intuitive, efficient user experiences. The iOS Developer will also participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and stay current with iOS frameworks, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in iOS Development and iOS frameworks (Swift/Objective-C, UIKit/SwiftUI, Xcode).
• Candidates should possess skills in Mobile Application Development and building production-grade Mobile Applications.
• Candidates should possess solid Software Development skills, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and version control (e.g., Git).
• Candidates should possess experience integrating mobile apps with RESTful APIs and working with JSON, authentication, and data persistence.
• Relevant qualifications include experience shipping apps to the App Store, debugging and performance tuning, and writing unit/UI tests.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, agile development practices, and basic understanding of AI or cloud-based services.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, collaborative communication skills, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment are required.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
