Original job description

When a food plant stops, every minute costs product, labor, and trust. You will lead the service team that gets processing and packaging lines back in production - and leave every customer relationship stronger than you found it. This is the role that turns technical skill into uptime, and uptime into loyalty.

Performance Objectives

Lift first-time fix and on-time response so customers lose fewer production hours.
Coach technicians to install, maintain, and repair equipment to one clear standard.
Run dispatch, travel, and parts so crews arrive prepared and jobs close cleanly.
Grow service-agreement and parts revenue without slowing response or quality.
Convert repeat failures into documented fixes, training, and safer machine performance.
Make every customer contact improve the relationship, measured by satisfaction and fewer escalations. .
Keep warranty, safety, and compliance records accurate and ready for review.

Environment & Resources

You lead field technicians who travel to food plants, backed by parts, applications, and engineering partners. You will use service scheduling tools, technical documentation, product training, and a parts operation built for daily demand. You report to service leadership and set the priorities for a hands-on, customer-facing team. Site visits are part of the work.

Essential Qualifications

Proven leadership of technicians who install and repair industrial equipment.
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems, including schematics.
A record of hitting response, uptime, or satisfaction targets in a travel-based service operation.
Experience scheduling work, managing parts, and closing jobs in an ERP or service system.
Clear communication with plant leaders and internal partners under production pressure. Must have Bilingual communication skills
Food processing or packaging machinery experience is a strong advantage.

Why This Role

World Leaders in this industry with over 50 years of hands-on know-how across meat, poultry, seafood, bakery, dairy, produce, prepared foods, alternative protein, and pet food.
A culture that expects hard work, helps people reach their potential, and still enjoys the job.
Structured product training so you and your team master flagship lines before you are left to improvise.
Real influence: your team will provide a superior customer experience, with prompt & specialized service.

If you can lead a crew that shows up ready, fixes it right, and earns the next call, apply now.
