Original job description

English section of this bilingual listing.

Topring is a proudly Canadian company, well established in Granby, QC, that brings its expertise in compressed air to the manufacturing, automotive, and construction sectors. With our wide range of solutions and personalized advice, we help our customers improve productivity, reduce accident risks, and save energy.

We are looking for a Customer Support Advisor to join our team. In this key role, you will be the first point of contact for customers who reach out to Topring. Your challenge will be to understand their business and recommend solutions tailored to their needs. At Topring, we are fortunate to have built strong relationships with our customers. They value the quality of our service and the fact that they can quickly reach a real person, without having to navigate through a series of automated prompts.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Answer incoming calls and gain a clear understanding of customer needs.
Advise customers on our products and recommend solutions tailored to their business realities, while highlighting the value of Topring’s solutions.
Process and enter orders into our computer system (SAP), ensuring appropriate follow-up.
Support customers with minor technical issues and coordinate resolution with our internal specialists for more complex situations.
Act as a resource for sales representatives while they are on the road by checking product availability, preparing quotations, and gathering the information needed to respond to customers.
Continuously develop and expand your knowledge of Topring’s solutions and the compressed air industry.
Follow established processes while actively contributing to their continuous improvement to ensure consistent and efficient service.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

1+ year of customer service experience, ideally in a technical environment.
Proficient in both French and English, spoken and written (many of our customers are located outside Quebec, making bilingualism essential).
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Comfortable using technology and able to navigate efficiently between multiple software applications.
Knowledge of industrial and/or technical environments, or a strong interest in developing this knowledge.
Enjoy helping others and acting as a trusted partner to both customers and colleagues.
Strong attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Important: Only candidates legally authorized to work in Canada will be considered.

Even if your profile does not match all these qualifications, we encourage you to apply if you are genuinely interested in the role. We are open to supporting the right person in developing the skills needed to succeed.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a daytime schedule, Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on some days and 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on others. Our office is in Granby, and we offer the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week.

WHO YOU WILL BE COLLABORATING WITH

You will join the Customer Support team, which includes two other Customer Support Advisors, a Customer Support Coordinator, an After-Sales Specialist, and a Customer Support Assistant. You will report to the Customer Support Director and work closely with the sales team.
You will be at the heart of our operations and have the opportunity to collaborate with every team: Procurement, Technical, Administration, Marketing, Warehouse, IT, and Talent & Culture. The Topring team is made up of 75 passionate people with complementary strengths and interests.

WHAT ARE THE PERKS

Compensation: We offer competitive compensation ranging from $24.00 to $30.00 based on experience (this rate includes a potential 10% profit-sharing bonus). Compensation is reviewed annually.
Vacation & Flexible Time Off: We offer 3 weeks vacation per year and 3 paid personal days.
Work-life Balance: We offer a variety of programs that support genuine flexibility & employee well-being.
Benefits: We offer a comprehensive group insurance plan (including dental coverage), as well as access to telemedicine and an employee assistance program for you and your family.
Wellness Account: We provide $350 annually to help cover expenses that support a healthy lifestyle.
Training: We invest in professional development through training tailored to each team member's needs.
Growth Opportunities: We encourage career development based on each team member's strengths and interests.
Recognition & Team Spirit: We take the time to recognize achievements and celebrate successes through team activities and shared moments.

At Topring, we are committed to providing a healthy, respectful, and inclusive workplace where everyone belongs. We welcome and encourage applications from all qualified candidates. Let’s build something great, together!
