Position: Accounts Manager

Location: Owen Sound, ON

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000- $80,000 (Base Salary) + Competitive Commission Bonus Plan (subject to change based on sales).

The Construction Equipment Account Manager (Sales Representative) plays a critical role as the direct liaison between our branches and our customers, helping to develop, maintain, and grow the relationships that drive our business forward. What You’ll Be Doing

Build and maintain strong customer relationships while being the face of our branch by engaging with customers through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions with a professional attitude.
Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of customer accounts.
Visit customer job sites and offices to assess needs and provide solutions.
Develop strong internal relationships with branch teams to support customer success.
Identify new business opportunities and follow up with prospective customers.
Secure customer orders, communicate requirements to branches, and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
Deliver equipment to customers when required.
Distribute and communicate promotional materials and programs.
Provide rental, equipment, and building product quotations.
Maintain flexibility to support customer schedules, after‑hours events, emergencies, and on‑call requirements.
Collaborate seamlessly with your colleagues to create a supportive and efficient work environment.
Follow all workplace safety protocols and environmentally sound practices, making sure everyone stays safe.

What We're Looking For

Sales Experience: Previous experience in a related sales or customer-facing role, with knowledge of construction equipment and building products.
Customer Service Oriented: Excellent communication skills and a knack for making customers feel valued.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel.) Experience with Systematics would be an asset.
Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with construction equipment and building products is an asset.
Detail Oriented: High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
A Self-Starter: With a keen sense of time-management and effective planning skills.
G Class Driver’s License: Full G Class driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
Flexibility to work after hours, attend customer events, and participate in on‑call schedules.
Ability to obtain a clear criminal background check is required.
Familiarity with the territory.
